On May 21, an email was sent inquiring as to the interest in organizing a RRP Certification Training class in conjunction with the Annual Conference. We have been successful in securing a training program through the University of Utah to be held Wednesday September 8 at the Little America Hotel from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The course will be taught by Dave Roskelley and Eldon Romney of R&R Environmental, Inc. and their fee is $185.00 per person. Those interested must email the names, addresses and birth dates of the participants to tim.doehner@namfs.org. Photos will be taken the day of the training.
Each participant will be responsible for paying for the course directly to R&R Environmental. In addition, there will be a separate charge of $20.00 payable to NAMFS for the room rental. Please do not include the two fees in the same check. Also, check with your state EPA office. This course is recognized in 43 states so don't sign up if you live in one of the 7 states that require their own certification training.
Finally, and this is true for all conference attendees, make sure you tell the hotel that you are with NAMFS to ensure the conference room rate. The association is obligated to fulfill our room committment so we need you to be counted.
For those who have already responded to the May 21, email, it WILL be necessary to confirm your attendance to the training. Deadline for class registration is August 15.
