What started out as a great relationship with a new client has taken a turn south.  Are you getting the full amount of your invoices paid, I am not.

In my continuing efforts to visit with the senior management of the major National NAMFS members, I spent a couple of hours this past Friday with Senior Vice President, Director of Operations for LPS Field Services, Jerry Rowell.  Jerry manages a 600+ person operation with offices in Solon, OH and Denver, CO.

Eric Miller and I attended the 7th annual P&P conference in Washington DC.  There were some interesting developments from HUD.

We asked members to provide us with their Top 5 Pain Points a couple of weeks ago.  The responses we received - 38 out of 420 member companies - were revealing but most were as many of us would suspect. 

I have been exremely happy with my policy with York-Jersey.  They advised me when I had a water issue and for that I can say nothing but good things . . . but my next year's premium just arrived and it is tough.  I shopped a couple of other sources of insurance and found rates substantially lower than York-Jersey.  My flat rate has not increased in 4 years, I need to cut expenses where I can.

As part of my "world tour" to visit the National members in our association, I had the opportunity to visit with National Field Reps in Claremont NH yesterday.  Despite the overcast skies, a bit of fog and rain, the mountains were beautiful with the fall foliage well on its way.
