2019 NAMFS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

NAMFS held this annual event at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.  This event provides an open discussion of timely, industry-related issues and concerns with industry leaders with the goal of defining industry solutions to these issues.

This year, the event was broken into four distinct sections: Keynote, General Discussion, Working Groups, and Recap & Next Steps.

The Keynote was presented by Adam Miles, Immediate Past President of NAMFS.  The entire group then held a general discussion on Payment Issues, as this was our membership’s most reported concern.  The group then split up into three Working Groups: Vendor Trade Agreements, Worker Classification, and NAMFS Brand & Certification.  These groups discussed and identified ideas, challenges, and opportunities which were then brought back to the larger group for review and comment.  These ideas will all be considered by the Officers and Board of Directors to determine any next steps to be taken.
