Application Requirements
1. A total of two letters of reference/recommendation are required: one must be from a current NAMFS member in good standing, while the other should originate from an individual who has a business relationship with the applicant.
2. FULL MEMBERSHIP requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience in mortgage field services. PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP will be offered to those applicants with less than two (2) years of experience until they fulfill the required experience or successfully complete ALL relevant NAMFS Certifications through the NAMFS Academy.
All applications will undergo review by the Executive Director, and any disputes may be taken to the Board of Directors for a conclusive decision.
Applicants who have been employed by NAMFS members within the prior 12 months are obligated to disclose this relationship.
If it is discovered that an applicant has provided inaccurate information on their application, a waiting period of two years will be imposed.
Please note that the two-week member comment period will not begin until all required documentation—submitted application, application fee, and two letters of recommendation—has been received. Membership in the Association is granted solely at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
